Founded in 1986, The Real Meat Company was the first ever brand
dedicated to placing Welfare, Purity and eating Quality as priority over mass production and supermarket mediocrity.
Its founders, Richard Guy and Gilly Metherell still own the Company and fiercely protect its
independence so that its standards are set to the highest level.

By not supplying supermarkets, we are free to criticise their shortcomings
and set standards to which they could never aspire. We sell through our own network of Real Meat Company Shops and Authorised
Stockists as well as our national home/place of work direct delivery service - Real Meat Direct.

We sincerely believe our standards go way beyond supermarket 'free
range', RSPCA Freedom Foods, organic, Farmers Markets and farm shops.
Anyone sharing our belief in Flavour without equal, Welfare without compromise understands
that meat produced this way costs more. But it is worth every penny for the flavour and the total peace of mind.
